Proud Mary Theatre Company’s Sordid Lives, the Southern cult comedy play by Del Shores, will now be virtual and streaming August 14-16.
Kenneth Snart plays the bartender Wardell. He recently relocated to North Carolina after retiring from the State of Wisconsin after 30 years. He will also be featured in Proud Mary Theatre Company’s productin of Sordid Lives in August (or date TBD). Ken has always enjoyed being involved in the theater and has had many wonderful experiences. In addition, he has been in many different music groups of many different genres including the Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus and Master Singers in Eau Claire, WI. In this beloved play, a colorful family from a small Texas town must come to grips with the accidental death of the elderly family matriarch during a clandestine meeting in a seedy motel room with her much younger, married neighbor. The woman’s family must deal with their own demons while preparing for what could be an embarrassing funeral.

Artistic Director Sandy Staggs will direct Sordid Lives and the production will include musical performances by Bitsy Mae Harling (Leslie Hendon) and Brother Boy (Scott Waddell) and a whole lotta shenanigans.
